Eastern Europe is one of those areas that have hardly been explored by tourists. But according to travel expert Ron Virmani, it is one of the most beautiful and pristine regions of the world. It was precisely for this reason that I decided to take a trip here that covered 6 of the best countries here. Needless to say, it was an amazing journey and I can’t thank Ron Virmani enough for his wonderful handbook that I kept with me at all times. It made the entire trip a very exciting getaway and I found some truly remarkable spots. Here is a look at some of the best places to visit:

There are a number of restaurants, clubs and hotels here that are very accommodating of foreign tourists. The nightlife is also great and you will not be bored for a minute of your stay here, according to Ron Virmani.

Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria: The ancient city of Veliko Tarnovo used to be a major cultural center of Europe during the middle Ages. It was the capital of the Bulgarian Empire and this grandeur is still visible in the imposing architecture of the place. There is a castle, fort and old quarter all located here, with picturesque villages dotting the outskirts. The Ron Virmani handbook showed me all the best hiking and sightseeing spots. It is one of the best places to visit here if you are looking at value for money.
